Blu-ray Editorial Review
**** "Sonic The Hedgehog 2" has garnered a warm reception from viewers, especially among families and long-time fans of the franchise. The sequel offers a continuation of the beloved story, where Sonic returns to the screen, now joined by new allies and facing off against familiar foes. Ben Schwartz reprises his role as Sonic, bringing the character's energetic and slightly chaotic nature to life. The film also features a solid lineup, including James Marsden as Tom Wachowski, Tika Sumter as Maddie, and Jim Carrey returning as the villainous Doctor Ivo Robotnik. One of the highlights of the film is the introduction of fan-favorite characters like Miles "Tails" Prower, voiced by Colleen O'Shaughnessey, and Knuckles, voiced by Idris Elba. Many viewers praised the film for its engaging plot, suggesting that despite it not hitting the high notes of its predecessor, it still delivers a fun and entertaining adventure. The balance of action and humor captures the spirit of the original video games, resonating well with audiences both young and old. Idris Elba's performance as Knuckles, in particular, has received significant acclaim and is viewed as a standout in the film. Overall, "Sonic The Hedgehog 2" is Considered a worthy addition to the franchise by its fans, praised for its animation quality, action sequences, and connection to the video games. It's seen as a film that succeeds in bringing joy and nostalgia, making it enjoyable for all ages. **
