ddrum Triggers TK Editorial Review
The Ddrum Pro Acoustic Bass Drum Trigger is a divisive product with reviewers either praising it (as one of the best and most sensitive triggers on the market, working well across different drum sets, great for punk and metal drumming) or panning it (describing it as a bad product for the price, having performance issues at high speeds, and breaking easily). One of the most common criticisms is that the XLR connections limit the trigger's usability and drummers need to use an adapter; however, this can be easily solved with a low-cost adapter. The trigger's clamp for attaching to the drum is also somewhat lacking in comparison to other triggers. Overall, if you're willing to put in the effort to learn about the triggering system and want its benefits (such as saving money on drum mic sets and getting a great drum signal), it can be a worthwhile investment.
