KYB Mounting Kits SM5664 Editorial Review
The KYB SM5664 strut mount is a versatile product that can be used in both left and right parts of the vehicle. The lock nuts needed for the three studs are included, making for easy installation, but some users have noted that the bolts are slightly longer than OEM. The clear plastic coating on the bolt threads is just for protection in transit. This strut mount is sold as individual pieces, not as pairs. Reviews of this product have been mixed. Some users have reported no issues after over a year of use, while others have had problems with squeaking and knocking noises after just a few months. Some users have even gone so far as to say that this product is junk and should be avoided in favor of OEM parts. Users who were happy with the product noted that it was easy to install and worked well.
