Elitech Data Loggers Editorial Review
The Elitech USB Digital Data Logger is a temperature and humidity recorder that boasts impressive features for its price point. Many users appreciate its straightforward functionality and the long battery life, which allows for extended data collection without frequent replacements. The software, although hefty in size, is noted for its ease of use, enabling users to generate detailed reports in PDF and CSV formats quickly. The device’s performance is regarded as satisfactory, delivering accurate measurements and convenient management of settings once the user familiarizes themselves with the functionality. However, the experience is not without its drawbacks. Some customers report incompatibility issues with Windows 11, encountering non-functional software despite attempts to troubleshoot. The documentation for the software is limited, and critical settings can be challenging to locate within the interface. Moreover, battery drain issues have been highlighted, with several users noting the relatively high cost of replacement batteries and the inconvenience of frequent changes, which sometimes led to data loss. Overall, while the Elitech Data Logger delivers on performance and offers a suite of functionalities that appeal to both professionals and hobbyists, the usability concerns related to the software and battery life might deter some users. **
