B&M Switches 80629 Editorial Review
The B&M 80629 Neutral/Reverse Micro Switch has garnered mixed reviews from customers regarding its functionality and installation experience. Many users appreciate its effectiveness as a neutral safety switch, citing specific applications like fitting to Hurst Pro Shifters or ensuring the safety of older vehicles, such as the 1957 GMC. Customers have noted that it operates as expected, successfully activating reverse lights and backup cameras in vehicles like the Jeep YJ. Some users even highlighted their positive experiences by sharing videos on platforms like YouTube. However, not all feedback has been favorable. A few customers encountered challenges during installation, with one reviewer describing their experience as a "waste of money" when the switch did not adjust properly, leading to issues such as the Camaro not starting and reverse lights incorrectly activating while in park or reverse. Additionally, there was a general sentiment that the product could have benefited from including mounting hardware, as it was mentioned that having this would have enhanced the installation process. Overall, the B&M 80629 Neutral/Reverse Micro Switch appears to offer a reliable option for users in need of a safety switch, particularly in specific configurations, though potential buyers should be mindful of possible installation challenges. **
