Instruction & Study Editorial Review
Pedal Steel Chords & Scales - Hal Leonard Pedal Steel Method Series (Book Only) is an essential resource for musicians looking to deepen their understanding of pedal steel guitar music theories. Reviewers appreciate the book's organization, which starts from basic C Major chord forms and leads through various scales, helping advanced players adapt their guitar knowledge to pedal steel. However, it does assume a basic understanding of music theory and the E9 tuning, making it less suited for absolute beginners. While some critiques highlight the lack of copedent information and the inclusion of unplayable chord structures, it remains a comprehensive reference for experienced players seeking to explore intricate chord positions and scales.
