Canada Editorial Review
Carson Crosses Canada is a heartwarming story about an elderly woman and her dog who travels across Canada to visit her sick sister. The book includes beautiful illustrations that make it more interesting to kids. The simple storyline includes some great Canadian geography woven into it, making it an excellent learning tool for children. This simply written book engages children without being dumbed down. It's like a little tour through Canada in story form with lovely characters. It would make an excellent addition to any children's library, school, or homeschool curriculum. While some reviewers wished the book gave more info about the places they visited, it's still an easy way to teach kids about Canada and how the landscape varies from coast to coast. Overall, Carson Crosses Canada is an excellent book for both kids and adults. It's a delightful read, and the surprise ending will keep readers entertained.
