Nutritionist's Take
FREZYDERM SENSITEETH FIRST TOOTH PASTE is specifically formulated for infants and young children, making it a noteworthy choice for early dental care. The product is fluoride-free, which is important for young children since fluoride ingestion can pose health risks. It uses natural ingredients like xylitol, which can help combat cavities by inhibiting harmful bacteria. Additionally, it is designed to be safe for swallowing, which is critical for toddlers who may not yet have mastered spit-out techniques. However, some nutritionists express concern about the sweetness from added ingredients, which may lead to a preference for sugary tastes. Overall, it supports dental hygiene in a niche demographic, but parents should consider introducing their child to a variety of tastes and promote overall healthy eating habits. As always, consulting a pediatric dentist for personalized advice is recommended.
