Cannon Downriggers Editorial Review
The Cannon Uni-Troll Manual Downriggers receive a generally positive reception from users, who appreciate their ease of use, efficiency, and accuracy. Many customers commend the depth counter's reliability and the quick retrieval speed, noting that they can cover more fishing area effectively, especially with multiple users on board. The transition from electric to manual has also been well-received, as users appreciate not draining their batteries while fishing. However, there are some concerns regarding build quality and design. A few reviewers pointed out issues with the swivel base's movement when secured, which can lead to instability. The durability of certain components, particularly the snap swivel terminator, has been criticized, as some users have had concerns over its reliability and potential for losing weights. Despite a few assembly hiccups reported, customers have been impressed by Cannon's responsive and helpful customer service, quick to address issues with parts or replacements. Overall, the Cannon Uni-Troll Manual Downriggers offer a solid, user-friendly option for anglers who prefer manual systems without the complications of electric models, although there are some areas where improvements could enhance performance further. **
