Speidel Fermenters FE730 Editorial Review
** Speidel Rectangular Plastic Storage - 60 l (15.9 gal)** The Speidel Rectangular Plastic Storage fermenter appears to be well-received by users, particularly among those who engage in home wine and beer fermentation. Customers appreciate its substantial size, which allows for large batches, making it a valuable addition for seasoned fermenters. The design features, including good gaskets on the lid and an accessible drain spout, contribute to its functionality, and many users note that the large opening simplifies the cleaning process. However, despite the overwhelmingly positive feedback, there are a few quirks that have been highlighted. Some customers have pointed out issues with the locking ring, which can be tricky to manage and may slide off the lid, a situation some users have found manageable with modifications. Also, the seal occasionally falls out during use, which can be a minor inconvenience. A few users encountered issues with drain holes, with one experiencing a manufacturing defect that rendered the product unusable. In contrast, other users reported the necessity of trimming elements to prevent leaks during operation. Despite these challenges, the overall Consensus is that the Speidel 60L fermenter is a robust and user-friendly option for both novice and experienced fermenters alike. Its ability to handle large quantities and ease of maintenance are frequently praised, making it a solid choice in the fermentation market. **
