However, there are some downfalls such as the annoying beep if the chime is not removed prior to installation, and the quick switching of light color if the switch is turned on and off too quickly. It does not hardwire to the fan if you have a separate light and fan switch. -

Respuesta: Each fan includes a remote control, so if you buy 4 lights, there will be 4 remote controls. There is no need for a dip switch. -

Respuesta: To my knowledge, the fan is all one piece and the cage around the fan does not detach. However, it should be easy to unscrew and take it down to wipe down the blades if necessary. Upgrading to another model may offer a detachable cage.
