SKIL SKIL PWR CORE 20 Editorial Review
The orbital sander in question has received mostly positive feedback from customers. It is described as well-built and easy to use, with a long-lasting 2 amp-hr battery. The included dust collector is effective for quick sanding tasks, while attaching a shop vac is recommended for longer tasks. One negative aspect mentioned is the sander being heavy with the battery, making one-handed sanding difficult. It is advised to clamp the work and use two hands for better control. Many customers appreciate the sander's performance, with some stating that it sands well and is balanced. The battery life is also noted to exceed expectations, with one customer mentioning that they bought an extra battery for longer projects. Comparisons have been made with a Kobalt 24volt kit, where the sander's battery is Considered to last longer. There were initial issues with the dust canister falling off, but these were resolved by installing it securely. Customers mention that using light pressure and keeping the sander level on the wood yields great results. The sander is praised for its effectiveness in sanding wooden flower pots and a bench seat. Overall, the sander is praised as a good quality product that is easy to use and performs well. Its value is emphasized, particularly for home project DIYers. The battery is commended for its long life, and the sander's ability to charge USB-powered devices is seen as a convenient feature.
