Dorman Fuel Injection Editorial Review
The Dorman 904-229 Fuel Injector Control Module is designed for use with select Ford models and is an affordable option available to fix FICM voltage issues. Most reviews indicate that it is easy to install, with clear instructions that help walk you through the process. The Dorman 904-229 offers a cost-effective solution, often saving hundreds of dollars compared to replacing the entire FICM from the dealership. However, it is important to note that some customers have reported that the module failed within a few weeks of installation, highlighting a lack of durability in the product.
