Nutritionist's Take
GUNNAR's Premium Gaming and Computer Glasses, specifically the Vertex model, are designed to reduce blue light exposure from screens, which can impact eye health and contribute to digital eye strain. Nutritionists appreciate the potential benefits of these glasses, especially for individuals who spend prolonged hours in front of computers or gaming devices. By blocking 35-98% of blue light, these glasses may help improve sleep quality and reduce headaches associated with eye strain. However, it’s important to note that these glasses do not replace proper self-care, such as regular breaks and proper lighting when using screens. While blue light blocking can be beneficial, it should be part of a holistic approach to screen time management. Overall, these glasses may be a useful tool for those with a demanding digital lifestyle, though consumers should remain informed that they are not a substitute for proper ergonomics and eye care.
Gunnar Blue Light Blocking Glasses Editorial Review
