Pennington Feeders 100509197 Editorial Review
The Pennington Cedar Squirrel Snacker Feeder has garnered a mix of reception from customers, many of whom appreciate its design and functionality for attracting squirrels, while also noting areas for improvement. Most users find the feeder effective for providing a designated area for squirrels, leading to enjoyable wildlife watching experiences. Its Construction is often praised for being high-quality and resilient against the elements, though there are reports of parts, particularly the plastic front piece, becoming brittle over time, which raises concerns about longevity. Many customers have enjoyed the feeder's design, noting its charm and how it has successfully attracted squirrels to their yards. A few have mentioned challenges with smaller animals, such as birds, which they feel compete for the food meant for squirrels. However, the view expressed by some is that such birds will quickly learn to coexist with the squirrels. Some improvements have been suggested, including the addition of side bars to the feeding ledge to retain food better, and the recommendation to provide replacement parts for the plastic components due to wear and tear. A few users also shared DIY enhancements, such as creating a larger ledge for squirrels to sit on comfortably while they eat. Overall, customers generally recommend this feeder as a reliable choice for attracting squirrels, with minor adjustments deemed necessary for perfecting its design. **
