The seatbelt cutter is at one end while the pointy end has a small knife point under the cap. There is confusion about what activates the sound, the cap being pulled off or the circle button being pushed, but overall the device is easy to install and comes with batteries. It is a bit heavy, weighing 3.2 oz but quality is good and it comes with three stickers for easy identification. One review mentioned the plastic covering the seatbelt cutter blade broke off immediately, but the product is seen by other reviewers as an excellent, high quality and versatile tool for personal safety and protection.
