Hamilton-Proctor Food Processors Editorial Review
Hamilton Beach Stack & Snap Food Processor The Hamilton Beach Stack & Snap Food Processor is receiving positive reviews from customers. Users appreciate its speed and efficiency when chopping, slicing, and shredding foods for cooking preparation and salads. The processor is praised for its quick slicing abilities, with one user mentioning that it can slice a potato in about 1 second. Changing the blades for different chopping options is also described as easy and fast. Clean-up is reported to be fairly straightforward, as all components are dishwasher safe or can be quickly rinsed under hot water. However, some users have mentioned issues with the cord. While there is a cord keeper space under the unit, manually getting the cord into that tiny hole has proven to be a nightmare for some. The lack of an auto wind-up feature is a minor inconvenience but not a deal-breaker for most. One aspect that users found odd is the manufacturer's suggestion to avoid using the processor for ice. Despite this, overall satisfaction with the product remains high. In terms of design, the processor is hailed as sleek and stylish, with a compact size that doesn't take up much counter space. Assembly is described as easy, and the base of the unit is Considered durable, featuring suction cups to keep it in place. Other features praised include the snap-together assembly, making it a breeze to put the processor together, and the easy-to-use and clean buttons and graphics for processing choices and blade options. The food pusher is also appreciated for its ability to protect the user's hands while pushing food down into the processing cup. In terms of performance, the processor is said to excel in slicing, dicing, and pureeing tasks. Users have successfully chopped food, shredded cheese, sliced fruits and vegetables, and made purees and salsas. The stainless steel blades are highly regarded, although caution is advised due to their sharpness. However, there have been some minor drawbacks reported. One customer mentions that the slicing blade does not offer thickness choices, which can limit its versatility for some users. Overall, the Hamilton Beach Stack & Snap Food Processor receives high praise for its ease of use, quick assembly, efficient performance, and easy clean-up. Its compact design, durability, and suction cup base make it a practical addition to any kitchen.
