Nutritionist's Take
Surthrival's Colostrum Powder is marketed as a powerful supplement for immune optimization and gut health, utilizing the nutrient-rich first milk from cows. Nutritionists generally view colostrum positively due to its high levels of immunoglobulins, growth factors, and antibodies that may enhance immune function and support recovery after exercise. The product is keto-friendly, making it suitable for those following low-carb diets. However, some potential drawbacks include possible allergic reactions in lactose-intolerant individuals and concerns over sourcing quality and ethical practices in dairy farming. While the health claims are promising, consumers should be cautious and consider their individual dietary needs. Overall, this product can be beneficial for those looking to bolster their immunity and gut health, but it's essential to consult with a healthcare provider before adding it to one’s regimen.
Surthrival Blended Vitamin & Mineral Supplements 2010 Editorial Review
Surthrival Colostrum Powder (6.5oz) is a powdered dietary supplement designed to optimize immune health and recovery while supporting gut health. With 61 servings per container, it is keto-friendly and offers a creamy taste similar to cow's milk. Many users have reported significant improvements in gut-related issues such as leaky gut and IBS symptoms after just a few weeks of use. The colostrum is praised for its immune system benefits and overall health enhancement; one user stated they experienced reduced allergy symptoms while taking it. However, some find mixing it challenging, recommending the use of a shaker bottle for better consistency.
