Its spring-assisted mechanism allows for smooth operation, making it ideal for heavy refrigerator doors that require easy access while ensuring they close securely to maintain temperature. For example, in a busy kitchen environment, these hinges can significantly improve efficiency, as staff can quickly open and close the refrigerator without the hassle of manual effort. -
Pregunta:
What materials are used in the Kason 1248 Spring Assisted Hinge?
Respuesta: The Kason 1248 Spring Assisted Hinge is constructed from high-quality stainless steel, which provides durability and resistance to rust and corrosion. This material choice is essential for refrigeration applications where moisture is prevalent. The robust design ensures long-lasting performance, making it suitable for heavy-duty use in various commercial settings, such as restaurants and grocery stores, where frequent door action is expected. -
Pregunta:
Can the Kason 1248 hinge be adjusted for different door weights?
Respuesta: Yes, the Kason 1248 hinge can accommodate adjustments based on different door weights. The spring mechanism allows for tuning, providing the flexibility needed for various door designs. Pregunta:
How does the spring-assisted feature of the Kason 1248 work?
Respuesta: The spring-assisted feature of the Kason 1248 operates through a coil spring mechanism that helps to lift the door as it opens and aids it in closing. In practical terms, in a restaurant setting, staff can quickly access refrigerated items while preventing accidental door detachment, contributing to a more efficient workflow. -
Pregunta:
Is the Kason 1248 hinge suitable for outdoor applications?
Respuesta: While the Kason 1248 hinge is made from stainless steel, which offers some level of corrosion resistance, it is primarily designed for indoor commercial refrigeration applications.
