Intex Framed Swimming Pools 28361EG Editorial Review
The Intex 54983EG Rectangular Ultra Frame Pool Set has garnered a largely positive reception among customers, particularly appreciating its capacity for providing a refreshing retreat in warmer climates. One standout feature is the saltwater system, which reduces the need for chemical sanitizers and contributes to a more pleasant swimming experience with less irritation to the skin and eyes. Many users expressed satisfaction with the pool's overall design and build quality, noting that the dimensions and water capacity make it ideal for family gatherings and recreational use. However, potential buyers should be aware that the pool's setup may require more effort than initially estimated. Reviews describe the assembly process as taking longer than the suggested 60-90 minutes, with some reporting it took an entire day to complete. Additionally, customers recommended investing in leveling the ground before installation to avoid complications during setup. While many users upgraded the original pump and filter system for improved performance, issues such as pump failures and rusting have been reported in the long term, indicating that some components may not hold up against the corrosive nature of saltwater. Overall, the Intex 54983EG offers excellent value for those looking for a mid-range pool option, especially if users are prepared for the necessary preparations and potential equipment upgrades. **
