UAC CO 11286C A/C Compressor

The UAC CO 11286C AC Compressor has garnered mixed feedback from customers, largely centered around fitting issues, particularly for certain models of the Mini Cooper. While some users report that the compressor functions effectively once installed, the key concern is its compatibility with specific vehicle models. Shoppers have noted that it does not fit several models accurately, with particular emphasis on the 2006 and 2014 Mini Coopers, which may require custom modifications for successful installation. Positive feedback highlights the compressor's efficiency and reliability after installation, with one user noting a successful direct replacement in a 2014 Mini Cooper that lasted about a year without issues. However, the larger pulley size has been a recurring theme, leading to the need for a custom belt in some cases. This discrepancy in sizing has caused frustration for others who expected a straightforward installation. Overall, while the compressor may perform well once fitted, potential buyers should exercise caution and verify compatibility with their specific vehicle model. Additional costs for custom belts may also be a Consideration for those with incompatible pulley sizes. **
