What is Control Solutions - Pivot 10 - IGR Concentrate used for?

Control Solutions Pivot 10 IGR Concentrate is primarily used for controlling insect populations by disrupting their growth. It acts as an Insect Growth Regulator (IGR) which inhibits the development of immature insects into adults. This is particularly effective for managing roaches, flies, and other pests in residential and commercial environments, ensuring long-term pest control by reducing their reproductive capabilities.

How do you apply Control Solutions Pivot 10 IGR Concentrate?

To apply Pivot 10 IGR Concentrate, dilute the product with water according to the label instructions, typically mixing it in a spray or squirt bottle. Apply it to areas where insects breed or travel, such as cracks, crevices, and structural voids. This application can help prevent new infestations by targeting larvae and preventing them from reaching maturity.

Is Pivot 10 IGR suitable for indoor use?

Yes, Pivot 10 IGR Concentrate is suitable for indoor applications. It can be safely used in various environments including homes, restaurants, and warehouses. Just make sure to follow the application guidelines provided on the product label to ensure maximum effectiveness while maintaining safety.

How often should I apply Pivot 10 IGR Concentrate?

The application frequency of Pivot 10 IGR Concentrate generally depends on pest activity and infestation levels. Typically, the product can be reapplied every 30 days if visual inspections reveal adult insects. For specific situations, always refer to the product guidelines to determine the optimal treatment schedule.

Can I mix Pivot 10 IGR with other pesticides?

Mixing Pivot 10 IGR Concentrate with other pesticides can be done, but it's essential to verify compatibility first. Always check the product labels or consult with a pest control professional. This practice can enhance the effectiveness of your pest management strategy by targeting multiple life stages simultaneously.

What pests does Control Solutions Pivot 10 IGR Concentrate target?

Control Solutions Pivot 10 IGR Concentrate effectively targets a range of pests including cockroaches, mosquitoes, flies, and other common insects. It disrupts their life cycle, preventing larvae from developing into adult insects, thus significantly reducing infestations in both residential and commercial settings.

How long does it take to see results from Pivot 10 IGR?

Users typically observe a reduction in pest activity within a few days of application. However, since Pivot 10 works by disrupting the insect growth cycle, it may take several weeks to see complete control over an infestation. Consistent application in accordance with product instructions is crucial for optimal results.

Is there a protective safety precaution to take during application?

Yes, when applying Pivot 10 IGR Concentrate, protective gloves and eyewear should be worn to avoid skin and eye irritation. It’s also advisable to ventilate the area well during application. This ensures a safer environment while effectively combating pest problems.

What is the shelf life of Control Solutions Pivot 10 IGR Concentrate?
