It comes with prepoured agar plates that are easy to use, and an experiment eBook that gives step-by-step instructions to guide the students. With these, students can observe bacteria and fungi growth, making for exciting experiments. While it is not ideal for mushroom spores, the kit's performance is superior, producing clean growth without refrigeration. However, some customers have experienced contaminated plates, especially if the kit is not used immediately. Others have pointed out the need to check the plates thoroughly before use for cracks around the edges that can impact performance.
