Another reviewer stated that it didn't keep their one-year-old's attention for very long. However, there were also positive reviews of the movie. One person found it interesting and enjoyed Naveen Andrews' performance. Another parent mentioned that their toddler loved the video and it served as a good introduction to different animals. There was also a mention of a grandparent purchasing the DVD for their nonverbal, autistic granddaughter who loved the series. Overall, the movie received mixed feedback, with some finding it lacking while others enjoyed it.
