Whether you're a passionate journal keeper or a professional in need of reliable stamping tools, we have everything to match your needs. Explore high-quality materials, bold colours, and easy-to-use accessories, delivered right to your door. Let every stamp tell your story.

Traditional Rubber Stamps

Traditional rubber stamps are a timeless staple in the world of crafting, widely used for journaling, cardmaking, and decorative designs. These stamps typically feature a rubber die mounted on a wooden or acrylic block, offering sharp impressions and long-lasting performance. Ideal for those who enjoy creative freedom, these stamps work beautifully with a variety of ink pads for stamps, allowing you to experiment with different textures and shades. Found in many stamp sets for journaling and scrapbooking kits, traditional stamps from brands like Hero Arts and Penny Black are cherished for their vintage charm and versatility.

Self-Inking Stamps

Self-inking stamps come with a built-in ink mechanism that automatically re-inks the stamp after each press, making them perfect for fast, repetitive use. Ideal for both office and crafting purposes, these stamps offer clean impressions with minimal mess. Available in various formats and styles, self-inking stamps eliminate the need for separate pads, which is especially useful for quick labelling or organisation in crafting. They're often seen in custom stamps and work well with waterproof and refillable ink pads for long-term use.

Pre-Inked Stamps

Pre-inked stamps deliver high-definition impressions using oil-based ink built directly into the stamp die. These stamps are known for their crisp, professional finish and are often used in decorative stamps and branding projects. Unlike self-inking models, they don’t require a separate mechanism to apply ink, which allows for finer detail and a more compact design. Often paired with permanent ink pads, they are ideal for use in both creative and business settings where precision is key.

Flash Stamps

Flash stamps are a modern version of pre-inked stamps, created using a light exposure technique that enables highly detailed prints. These are particularly useful for logos, signatures, and fine text. Their clean, bold impressions make them a go-to for custom stamps or notary use. Flash stamps typically offer thousands of impressions before needing a refill, blending convenience with professional-grade performance. Their sealed design helps maintain ink longevity and print clarity.

Wood Handle Stamps

Wood handle stamps feature a traditional wooden knob or handle, offering tactile comfort and a classic appearance. These stamps are commonly used in rubber stamps for crafting and are a popular choice for heat embossing, cardmaking, and DIY gift tags. Their solid grip allows better control during stamping, making them ideal for those who value manual artistry. Often paired with traditional ink pads, they provide a tactile and nostalgic crafting experience.

Pocket Stamps

Compact and portable, pocket stamps are designed for convenience on the go. Whether you’re marking notebooks, journaling while travelling, or keeping a signature stamp handy, these foldable, self-contained stamps are built for mobility. They're often included in clear stamps and craft stamps kits, where space-saving tools are essential. Despite their size, they maintain consistent impressions and are easy to refill, making them suitable for everyday creativity and quick documentation.

Notary Stamps

Notary stamps are designed for official documentation and legal use, delivering sharp, tamper-proof impressions. These are typically pre-inked or self-inked for efficiency and are governed by regional notary standards. While more functional than decorative, they can be personalised as custom stamps and used with permanent ink pads to ensure document durability and clarity. Their sturdy build ensures repeated use without loss of precision.

Revenue Stamps

Revenue stamps are used for legal, governmental, or transactional purposes where tax, duty, or official validation is required. While not part of conventional crafting, they may appear in custom-designed forms for corporate or administrative settings. These stamps often work in tandem with stamp pad ink that is smudge-resistant and tamper-proof, ensuring clarity in legal records or receipts.

Agreement Stamps

Used primarily in real estate, legal contracts, and business agreements, these stamps mark documents for validation or compliance. Agreement stamps often require high-contrast, permanent ink and are usually custom-designed. They play a vital role in formal transactions and, while functional, can also be produced using flash or pre-inked methods for consistent output.

Dye-Based Inks

Dye-based inks are thin, fast-drying inks that soak into paper quickly, making them ideal for rubber stamps used in scrapbooking or journaling. They offer vibrant colour and are perfect for layered stamping and mixed media projects. Often found in Hero Arts and Stampers Anonymous kits, dye inks are a top choice for crisp impressions on porous surfaces. However, as one Reddit user pointed out:

“Without lamination, I've seen dye ink fade within a few months indoors with no direct sunlight, mostly in red areas.”

Source: r/printers (Reddit)

This means they’re best used for projects that don’t require long-term display unless sealed or laminated. Still, for their ease, range of hues, and sharp impressions, dye inks remain an essential addition to any arts, crafts & sewing collection.

Pigment-Based Inks

Pigment-based inks are thicker and sit on top of the paper, producing rich, fade-resistant colours. These inks are best used for embossing, decorative stamping, and projects requiring intense colour payoff. They dry slower than dye-based inks but offer more vibrancy and water resistance. Paired with decorative stamps or stamp sets for journaling, pigment inks from Penny Black allow for stunning results with long-lasting appeal.

Specialty Inks

Speciality inks include metallic, chalk, embossing, or glow-in-the-dark varieties, bringing unique textures and finishes to your crafting projects. These are often used in seasonal cards, party invites, or themed layouts where a bold or creative flair is needed. With options designed for both craft stamps and professional use, speciality inks open up endless possibilities in customisation and surface experimentation.

Traditional Ink Pads

Traditional ink pads are simple, reliable, and work with a wide variety of stamps. They come in water-based and pigment-based options, making them adaptable for different techniques. Used across rubber stamps, decorative stamps, and DIY projects, these pads are ideal for artists who prefer manual application and control. They’re also available in quick-dry and waterproof ink pad variants for added durability. Crafters often have their preferences when it comes to brand and formulation. As one Reddit user shared:

“I find ink pads with foam to give less crisp images.

My main ink for a while has been ranger archival ink. It is super crisp. However, it is NOT water based so you need the special archival ink cleaner to clean your stamps properly. It's a bit annoying.

The new altenew fresh dye inks also give a great crisp impression.

An important factor is also the paper. Try stamping on different brands of paper to find out which of your inks "spread" less on which cardstock.”

Source: r/cardmaking (Reddit)

Whether you're after precision or experimentation, traditional stamp ink pads offer tactile satisfaction and creative control with every press.

Self-Inking Pads

Self-inking pads are built into the stamp mechanism and refill automatically after each impression. These pads are designed for long-term efficiency and are perfect for fast-paced use in both office and craft settings. Available as refillable ink pads, they support sustainable usage and reduce the need for frequent replacements, especially in high-volume stamping.

Pre-Inked Pads

Pre-inked pads come with ink infused directly into the pad material, delivering ultra-crisp, professional impressions. These pads are often oil-based and offer a clean, smudge-proof finish, making them excellent for custom stamps or legal documents. Used alongside flash or pre-inked stamps, these pads provide a consistent, high-quality outcome without drying out quickly.
